ferris wheel
The day starts, I enter the ferris wheel, I sit on the stool. As we go up I see more and more of the cityscape, it's overwhelming, it's devoid of color, it's ugly. As we go down the horrible scene leaves my sight, lefting me only with the grounded view I had before, I leave the ferris and the day ends.
Another day starts, I enter the ferris wheel, I sit on the stool. Today is a cloudy day, so mostly what I see is gray, luckily for me it covers most of the horrible cityscape, I enjoy my time up there, Isolated from the ground, without having to face the reality of that view, I leave the ferris wheel and the day ends.
After riding this ferris wheel for so long I started to understand beauty hidden in that horrible cityscape, I can see snippets of people's life, localized beauty popping up here and there, I wouldn't know any of that if I did not ride the ferris wheel everyday.
But would I want to continue riding it? nah.
